Dear journal,
I just got back from James's birthday party. It was much better than I expected. We interacted with a few of his friends, and there's this girl, I will say she's an interesting person. Very calm and collected, a serious athlete, and surprise of the night. She's able to hold a conversation!!! OMFGGFMO!!! It's like she's able to initiate, answer in full length sentences, ask back in return. I know this sounds really sad but the type of people I know/ I've met either just babble on about themselves or expect to be 'interviewed'. Anywho, she really pinged my gaydar hard. Seriously. I kept getting this "vibe" from her. Maybe it's the things she said, or just from her body language.. I could be wrong though. I have zero track record of recognizing members of the LGBT family.
